Orbicular Ocean Jasper Pendant on Pewter Chain
Ocean Jasper contains the energies of the Earth.
It is historically thought of as a protective stone, with soothing and
healing qualities.
This Ocean Jasper piece is a variety of Orbicular Jasper, a type of jasper
named for the spherical shapes and patterns within the stone. This
intriguing piece has many such orbital shapes throughout the stone. These
shapes, referred to as orbs and “eyes,” are considered as protection from
the "evil eye."
Circular patterns symbolize and help us realize that we are all
interconnected, and nature is a cyclical pattern.
Double-circles in pewter overlay the jasper to reflect and enhance the
ancient Greek belief that circles and spheres are symbols of the Divine.
These double circles interconnect and strengthen the protective nature of
the circular orbs within the Jasper.
Many who have worked with jasper, and held it and worn it, have experienced
